An IT consulting practice that works alongside Japanese homebuilders, and a real estate and executive advisory practice that opens a route overseas. Two different fields, one way of working.
Moa&Berry is a limited liability company running two businesses. One is IT consulting for homebuilders in Japan, carried out close to the site. The other is real estate advisory for owners and executives who are considering moving assets or themselves overseas.
The subjects differ and so do the languages, but the thinking underneath is the same. We visit the site, close the gap in specialist knowledge, assemble what is needed for a decision, and then leave the decision to the client. We choose diligence in practice over showmanship.
"I don't understand the system" or "there's no one I can ask" — homebuilders run into small frustrations like these all the time. We meet each one in plain language from the site, and take it on carefully. Beyond fixing what's in front of us, we're also glad to talk through longer-term digital transformation. Quality is managed with the project management, requirements definition and QA practices used by systems integrators.
A weaker yen, geopolitical risk, an unease about the future you can't quite name — holding some of what you own across markets like Istanbul, Malaysia and Portugal is one answer, and we deliver it entirely in Japanese. We walk the process alongside you, from finding the property to signing, with a trusted local partner. Because we hold a neutral, quasi-mandate position rather than a stake in the sale, our advice isn't a pitch. Where an Istanbul property meets the requirements, it can also open a path to citizenship.
With construction-industry specialists and software engineers in house, we can talk about systems and about overseas property without falling back on jargon.
We keep the pace of a large firm and prices with nothing padded into them.
From the first conversation to follow-up after signing, we translate the specialist terms and stay with you.
We turn what feels distant and unfamiliar into words that feel close to home. That's our role.
We want to turn “I don’t understand it, so I’ll leave it to you” into “I understand it, and I’m leaving it to you.” On a building site or in an overseas property transaction, that is what matters most in how we work.
The name Moa&Berry comes from the names of people close to us. It is also a way of saying we never wanted this to be a company that keeps its clients at arm’s length. We are still a small firm in preparation, but we bring the density only a small team can to every conversation.
